Role of Youth in Community Development

Youths are the parts of community. Community can solve every problem with tenant of youths. Community is not just group of people but it is the group of children, young and old people who have different knowledge but they are interested to work with each other. At young age, youths have power to generate new idea to solve problems of society. Suppose, in Specific Street, there is the shortage of electricity. No one is interested to talk this matter to higher authority. Youths of that street can make the community to talk this matter to higher authority and complaint irresponsible officers and employees of electricity department.

National Youth Day of India – 12th January 2010

Swami Vivekananda had done the largest works for development of youths of India. He was born on 12th Jan. 1863. So, this day is also celebrated as National Youth Day . This day is just tribute to great youth of India, Swami Vivekananda who had given direction to Indian youths in his lecture and books. Swami Ji’s written books are the great source of inspiration for the Indian Youths.

Role of youth in nation building

Building means constructed physical body of any house. But national building is different from general physical building; it means united organization of nation which shows the strength of nation. Youth are like national builder, they can build whole nation with his hard work and with high moral character. Every 10 people of India, we see 4 youths, so, they should to integrate and work for creation the building of nation. After this we can present the example for other countries. A good national building is also much benefited for taking good teaching for next generation. Important Note : Next Week 12 Jan 2009 , We will celebrate birth day of Swami Vivekananda in the form of national youth day. Because of I have earlier written on the topic role of youth in national integration and role of youth in nation . Today , I am trying to write role of youth in national development ( Special indian development ) . India is a country in which has the largest population of young people in the world . According to census there are 64 crores of youth between the age of 13-35 . The projected figure is 70 crores . According to the natioanl youth policy it is the 40% of total population of India . The role of this vast segment of humanity for national development and international order can , therefore , be hardly estimated .
